How TrustDeck Works

TrustDeck acts as a physical middleman for every trade. Neither party sends their items directly to the other - everything passes through us first.

The Trade Process

1

List or Browse

Add items from your collection to the marketplace, or browse what others are offering. Every listing shows condition details and any cash add-on the owner is open to.

2

Make an Offer

Found something you want? Send an offer with items from your own collection, optionally including a cash add-on. The listing owner can accept, decline, or counter.

3

Lock the Trade

Once both parties accept, the trade is locked. You'll choose a service level for each item you'll receive and complete any payment due. No one can back out once locked.

4

Ship to TrustDeck

Both parties ship their items to our address independently. You'll receive a status update as soon as your package arrives.

5

Inspection

Every package is opened under camera. We inspect each item for condition and authenticity, comparing against the agreed trade terms. Any discrepancy is resolved before anything moves.

6

Dispatched - Trade Complete

Once both sides pass inspection, each party's items are forwarded to their new owner. Cash add-ons are settled. The trade is marked complete.

Service Levels

When you lock a trade you choose a service level for every item you will receive. No Service means we forward your item without inspecting it; Full Service means we check it for damage, quality and authenticity. The service fee is a percentage of the item's value - the exact amount is shown before you confirm.

Service level details are shown per item during the trade flow.

Service Fees

TrustDeck charges a small service fee per trade to cover handling, inspection, and dispatch. Fees are shown in full before you confirm a trade.
